Designing the landing page.
Along with brand marketing, I created digital storytelling for Mia Men. Using that content, I built wireframes for the landing page and eventually the visual design. The landing page was one of the first touch points for consumers and is heavy on product storytelling — this made the work instrumental in driving look-and-feel for the launch.
Style guide.
It was important to capture the essence of Mia Men, so I pulled elements from packaging and physical product – as well as balancing that with brand DNA tying it into the larger Clarisonic brand. This was used in development as well as the creation of email, social content, and digital media.
Dark + light.
We expanded on the existing site styling – shifting the palette boundary to accommodate both light and dark visuals.
Showcasing key product features.
After the teaser phase of the launch, the landing page transitioned into a product detail page. I came up with an unboxing concept, using the product image slots we brought in human elements to showcase key product features. This was my priority because I wanted those, who were generally a new demographic to the brand, to get a good sense of device features and quality.
Digital media and storytelling.
A typical process for me before jumping into work, like creative for a campaign launch, is to gather inspiration as well as revisiting any existing visual libraries. I used this as a visual style guide to create assets for the launch.
